We are an ABYC Professional Member marine surveyor and commission manager based permanently in Bodrum. We hold no commercial relationship with any yard, broker, or supplier. Our only obligation is to the client who retains us.
Surveyyat was founded on a single observation: buyers commissioning or purchasing wooden yachts in Turkey had no genuinely independent authority working on their behalf. Yards, brokers, agents, and even well-intentioned advisors all had commercial relationships that coloured their advice.
We exist to fill that gap. We are based in Bodrum year-round — not visiting surveyors who fly in for a day. We have 15 years of direct relationships with the yards, craftsmen, and material suppliers in the Bodrum–Marmaris corridor.
That knowledge is available exclusively to our clients — because we are paid by our clients and answer only to them.
The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) is the internationally recognised standard for marine survey and technical practice. ABYC Professional Membership requires demonstrated technical competency. Our survey reports and build certificates are issued on ABYC Professional Member letterhead — accepted by major insurers, flag states, and classification societies.
