For insurance brokers, insurers and marine lenders: what the report contains, when it is delivered and how we work, on one page.

- Length and structure
- A 70+ page photographic report: vessel identity, summary, findings system by system, reading tables and areas not inspected.
- Finding grades
- Each finding carries an A, B or C urgency grade, its location and the recommended action. A: before going to sea. B: within this season. C: planned maintenance.
- Readings
- Moisture map, ultrasonic thickness (on steel and aluminium), electrical and leakage, cathodic protection and sea trial values are tabled, with the instrument used.
- Language
- English or Turkish.
- Delivery
- Digitally, within 2-3 working days of the on-site inspection.
Condition survey or valuation
Condition survey
Documents the boat's technical condition: structure, systems, safety equipment and findings. This is usually the report asked for at insurance proposal and renewal.
Valuation
Sets out an estimated market value from the boat's condition and market data. Used for lending, security and setting the insured value.
They can be commissioned separately or together in one report.
How we work
- Instruction. From the institution or the owner; any required format or mandatory sections are sent at this stage.
- Planning. Access, haul-out and sea trial are arranged with the owner. For moisture readings the boat is kept ashore and dry for at least one week.
- Inspection. Ashore and afloat, non-destructive.
- Report. Within 2-3 working days, in the structure you require.
The report belongs to the party that pays for it and is not shared with third parties without written consent. When the institution instructs, the quote is issued in writing to the institution.

What institutions want from a report
Insurers and lenders want a short, clear answer: is the boat in a condition to insure or accept as security, is there any finding affecting safety, and what is its estimated market value? So the report opens with a summary before the detailed findings. The summary gives on one page what the institution needs to decide; details and photos are in the body.
Recommendations and deadlines
Insurers often make it a policy condition that grade A findings are put right within a set time. So the report states plainly why each recommendation matters and how urgent it is. When the work is done, photos and invoices showing it are sent to the institution; if needed, a short check visit confirms it.
Confidentiality
The report belongs to the party who commissioned it. It is passed to an institution with the owner's or buyer's permission and only as far as needed. If the institution wants the report addressed to it, that is agreed at the start and the report prepared accordingly.
Timing
The report is delivered in 2-3 working days. If a haul-out is needed, at least a week of drying for moisture readings is added. If a policy renewal or loan approval date is near, the survey is planned early around it.
If the institution has a form or a question list, sharing it before survey day lets the answers go straight into the report, with no second edition needed.
