Choose departure and destination, boat type, length and speed. The planner splits the route into daylight legs and gives each leg a departure window, cape and strait cautions, harbours for the night, fuel stops on the way, and fuel, water and provisions.
For non-stop sailing with watches, enter 24 as daily hours. Leave the fuel tank empty to use an estimate from the length; legs are chosen to keep 30% of the tank in reserve, with fuel stops in mind.

Lazy lines removed, a jetty collapsed, fuel no longer delivered, or a new harbour opened? Write a short note; we check it and update the list.
This tool is for planning, not navigation. Current official charts, pilot books and forecasts come first. Distances follow the coastal route and use the same method as our delivery calculator.
