Prices differ a lot even within a region: in Marmaris bay, central marinas cost about 40 percent more than facilities on the opposite shore. Municipal and public harbours charge around €240-290 per metre a year, roughly a quarter of the private-marina median.
3. What sets a marina price
- Length and beam: most marinas price by length or length × beam; catamarans cost more for their width.
- Term: an annual contract is much cheaper than daily or monthly rates; some marinas offer multi-year fixed prices.
- Afloat or ashore: dry storage is priced differently, and hauling and launching are charged separately.
- Small-boat minimums: at 6-7 m the marina's minimum tariff pushes the per-metre price up.
- Extras: electricity, water, waste pump-out and parking are usually billed separately.
4. Moving marinas: delivery cost
The annual difference between regions can reach several thousand euros, while moving the boat often costs a fraction of that.
