The boat leaves Marmaris Bay, runs east past Ekincik (off the Dalyan river mouth) and enters the Gulf of Göcek. It is a single-day leg; Ekincik can be an overnight stop if wanted.

A weather window is easy to find. In summer the west-north-westerly meltemi can build in the afternoon, so a morning departure is preferred; the Gulf of Göcek is sheltered in every season.
