Oasis Marina in Yeni Foça opened in 2023 as the first yacht marina between Ayvalık and Çeşme; with haul-out and maintenance on site, hull inspection and moisture readings can be done there. Dikili, where we work from, is 23 miles away by sea.

2. How a survey works at Foça Marina
At Oasis Marina the boat is hauled and dried before the hull, underwater body and moisture readings; the sea trial follows off the marina. In Eski Foça, boats at the municipal Fok Marina lie on laid moorings; a haul-out is arranged on the local slipway or at Yeni Foça.
3. What we look at here
- Protected area: the coast and islands of Foça are a Special Environmental Protection Area for the Mediterranean monk seal; the sea-trial route follows those rules.
- Boats moved in: as the marina is new, many boats came from Ayvalık, İzmir or Çeşme; marks from previous berths (mooring-line chafe, anode condition) are checked.
- Foreign-flagged boats: where to clear in or out is planned with the delivery route; the nearest port of entry is Dikili.

5. Planning and report
For a quote, send the model, year, length and whether the boat is ashore or afloat. The haul-out is booked around the marina's schedule; for reliable moisture readings the boat dries for at least a week ashore. The sea trial is run in open water off the marina, in the calmer morning hours. The photo report, with findings graded A-B-C, follows within 2-3 working days.
6. Fee
The fee at Foça Marina comes from the same formula as our calculator: length in feet × €22.5, multiplied by the type and age factors. Foça Marina is in our home area, so no travel charge is added. The figures below are for boats 6-15 years old, sea trial included, excluding VAT.

For boats 0-5 years old the fee is about 9 percent lower; over 15 years about 14 percent higher. A detailed engine inspection is an optional add-on (€400-750 per engine by size).
