Güzelbahçe fishing harbour lies on the south shore of the Gulf of İzmir, about 7 miles west of Levent Marina. It has both berths and a slipway, so many small and mid-size boats in the gulf are hauled, maintained and sold here.

2. How a survey works at Güzelbahçe
A boat on the slipway is ideal for hull and moisture readings; if it was hauled recently, at least a week of drying is allowed. A boat afloat is inspected and sea-trialled first, then hauled. Sea trials run in the gulf in the calmer morning hours, before the westerly imbat builds.

- Slipway haul-out: cradle and chock contact under the keel and hull.

5. Planning and report
For a quote, send the model, year, length and whether the boat is ashore or afloat. The haul-out is booked around the marina's schedule; for reliable moisture readings the boat dries for at least a week ashore. The sea trial is run in open water off the marina, in the calmer morning hours. The photo report, with findings graded A-B-C, follows within 2-3 working days.
6. Fee
The fee at Güzelbahçe comes from the same formula as our calculator: length in feet × €22.5, multiplied by the type and age factors. Güzelbahçe is in our home area, so no travel charge is added. The figures below are for boats 6-15 years old, sea trial included, excluding VAT.
