The boat leaves the Gulf of İzmir, rounds Karaburun and Çeşme, and runs down via Sığacık, Kuşadası and Didim to Bodrum. Departing from Çeşme shortens the route to Çeşme-Sığacık-Kuşadası-Didim-Bodrum.
3. Weather, current and season
The waters off Karaburun and Çeşme are where the north wind blows hardest; heading south it is behind you. The Gulf of Kuşadası and the approaches to Didim get lumpy on summer afternoons, so legs are planned for the morning.
4. Fuel and stops
Marinas are close together on this coast, so the fuel plan is flexible. Typical stops with overnights:
- Day 1: İzmir - Çeşme (rounding Karaburun is the main leg of the day).
- Day 2: Çeşme - Sığacık (Teos Marina).
- Day 3: Sığacık - Kuşadası.
- Day 4: Kuşadası - Didim.
